Let's start off with the best. Zara appeared to have a great selection of clothing starting at $9.99 all the way through to $19.99. The $9.99 table was definitely picked through by the time I got there, but I can envision many $14.99 items falling to $9.99 soon. Head over there when you get a chance!
The Limited had a fantastic promotion - Take an additional 50% all of their clearance items. They were beginning to look a little picked through, so head over there quickly! (The accessories looked like they were wiped out last week...) Plentiful jeans and work pants were at unbeatable prices. I bought a flowery top that scanned for a price of $6.49 (down from the original of $35).
Macy's came through with some 50-75% off deals on Alfani, Liz Claiborne, Michael Kors, INC, Charter Club, etc. I got a great top and glittery turtleneck there for the grand total of $20! Unfortunately, additional 20% off coupons are not valid on "One Day Sale" days, so head over there tomorrow or next week to catch even better deals!
Victoria's Secret had 50-75% deals on some great beauty products. Tragically, their store was completely empty so I foresee more price drops. Banana also likes to tantalize customers with the "Final Days" of their sale and with an additional 30% off promotion on their pants and shoes. I saw many enticing items, but stocks were still full and crowds were thin. Some notables: 50% off post-holiday items at Godiva, 50-75% off items at Bath & Body Works, the 50% off clearance handbag section at Macy's, and some good promotions at New York & Company.
Jeers to H&M for their "Buy 1 Get 1 Free Offer" - I don't need 2 of one thing! They are especially manipulative - they raised the price of a shirt I got a few weeks ago from $5 to $10. You'll essentially be paying the same clearance price, but you are forced to buy two! Also, jeers to United Colors of Benetton for their 70% off sale (Don't they know 75% is the new 50%?!?!) and their rude staff who rushed us out of the store 1 hour before closing.
Well, that's my round up for tonight. Unfortunately, I can't guarantee the validity of my research as these promotions may differ between many store branches all over the US and world. I can only hope that some accuracy is reflected so that you may enjoy these deals at other locations. Happy shopping!
